Join us for this transformative 5-week class exploring the mystical wisdom in Richard Rohr’s powerful text. Through the lens of Unity principles, we’ll examine how to meet the challenges of today’s world by “putting on the Christ”—living from a place of spiritual clarity, compassion, and purpose.
Together, we’ll discover what it means to be a modern mystic: one who lives the Truth we know. We’ll uncover the mystical roots within Unity teachings and reflect on how they align with Unity of Melbourne’s unique WHY.
Whether you attend in person or online, you’ll be part of a thought-provoking, heart-opening journey of spiritual insight and deep connection.

- Realize that the path of the mystic within your reach
- Discover, in the context of a mature Christianity (or any tradition), the God which is “closer to me than I am to myself,” (St. Augustine)
- Grow in depths of compassion for the world, and develop a learned capacity to recognize God within ourselves, in others, and in all things
- Apply what the mystics know to your moment to moment “seeing”, bringing open-heartedness into the life you lead and the work you do
- Begin to live from a place of nonjudgment, forgiveness, love, and a quiet contentment with the ordinariness of life
- Know that your life is not ordinary at all
